About

I’ve loved animals and nature for as long as I can remember. When I was five, my mom found me cradling a shoebox with a raspberry, some lettuce, and a limping ant. “This ant has a broken leg,” I said. “Let’s help it.” That instinct to care for others stuck with me and eventually led to years of work in animal welfare and environmental advocacy.

Over time, I realized I wanted to keep making a difference — but in a different way. In college, I studied sociology and became fascinated by human behavior and interaction. I’ve always been drawn to both the analytical and creative sides of problem solving, and when I discovered UX design, it felt like the perfect blend of everything I love: empathy, creativity, and purposeful work.

Outside of design, I have a lot of hobbies. I’m a granny at heart, so some of my favorite activities include sewing, knitting, and bird watching. I also love hiking and can often be found out on the trails with my Yellow Lab (and sidekick) Ziggy. Oh yeah… and did I mention I’m a huge Gopher basketball fan?!
